In all their magnificence, ever wondered about the secrets that trees held, and have you ever stepped foot into ‘The Understorey’ or the ‘Web of Life’?

Embark on a comprehensive journey into the World of Plants to learn more about the rich diversity of the rainforest, its structure and the different types of plants that live there. Discover the role of different plants within their ecosystem, their different adaptations against predators, the varied strategies for pollination and fruit dispersal, and how plants and animals are all entangled in a real ‘web of life’.

  • Understand the ways in which vegetation adapts to the environment
  • Recognise the effectiveness of sustainable management of plants and trees at The World of Plants
  • Outline the process of photosynthesisand understand the conditions necessary for it to occur
  • Trace the primary food source in a food chain to the green plant
  • Recognise man’s responsibility to have care and concern for the environment

Programme Fee: $250 per group (includes an Activity Booklet for each student)
