The Photo Thing

News and Events

Started by a group of NUS students, “The Photo Thing” is a pictorial project which seeks to find answers to the questions: What is the Singaporean? What is our national culture? What do Singaporeans think is great about Singapore?
The A Singaporean Home: What’s Practical? What’s Important? Exhibition will be held at the Serangoon Public Library from 15 to 21 March 2015.
Get involved: Chitchat/masak2
Come down to the exhibition, see what we’ve collected and make something of your own.
We also need more hands on deck to help out with the exhibition, for anything from half an hour to a few hours a day. We need photographers, videographers, or sitters. If you have your own camera/videocam that’s a plus, if not we can provide. Drop us a line if you’re interested. It’s a great way to see what people think about this/have conversations with people about Singapore!
Talk: Conversation with the curators
15 March, 4pm-5pm, Programmes Room
